The History of the Bar Association
«Kucherena & Partners»:

In 1995 Anatoly Kucherena organized and took a senior position within one of the first law bureau "Argument " in the framework of the Moscow city bar association. To date The Bureau has been reorganized the Bar association. Anatoly Kucherena is the presiding officer of it.

Today the attorneys and the lawyers of the Bar " Kucherena & partners" under the direction of Anatoly Kucherena provide legal services in different branches of law and successfully appear for their principals in arbitration courts and general jurisdiction courts.

Anatoly Kucherena

EDUCATION

In 1991, Anatoly Kucherena graduated from the Moscow Law Institute (currently, Moscow State Law University).

Since 2001 to date, Anatoly Kucherena is the Head of the Department of the Bar and Notariat at the Moscow State University of Law.

In 1999, Anatoly Kucherena defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Administrative Justice in Defence of Human and Civil Rights and Freedoms in the Russian Federation”.

In 2003, Anatoly Kucherena became the Doctor of Law with the thesis on the topic “Advocacy Role in the Civic Society Formation in Russia” at the Moscow State Law University.

PROFESSIONAL OCCUPATION

Since 1993, Kucherena has been an attorney, Chairman of Kucherena & Partners, a Bar Association, and a member of the Moscow Bar Association.

In 1995, Kucherena established and headed one of the first law offices of the Moscow Bar Association, Argument (since 2003, Kucherena & Partners, a College of Lawyers).

AREAS OF LAW PRACTICE

Anatoly Kucherena renders legal services in different areas of the law and represents the interests of his clients at courts of general jurisdiction and courts of arbitration.

For the years of lawyering, Anatoly Kucherena has represented the interests of numerous clients, including, but not limited to, Nikita Mikhalkov, Iosif Kobzon, Yuri Lyubimov, Yuri Yakovlev, Sergey Lisovsky, former Minister of Justice Valentin Kovalev, widow of the killed general, Tamara Rokhlina, Russian skiing champions Larisa Lazutina and Olga Danilova, the children’s interest in the matter of the private orphan home’s director, Karpov, and soldier Andrey Sychev and his family. Anatoly Kucherena took active part in the resolution of the conflict in Yuzhnoye Butovo and advocated Oleg Shcherbinsky. Anatoly Kucherena many times acted as a mediator, assisting the parties to a conflict in its resolution: the dispute between Irina Belenkaya and Jean-Michel André on determination of the place of residence of their daughter Elisa, Kristina Orbakaite and Ruslan Baydasarov on determination of the place of residence of their son Deni, as well as Filipp Kirkorov and Marina Yablokova. Anatoly Kucherena conducted non-government inspections of the situation with the adoptive parents of Gleb Ageev and conflict at the Orthodox Covent in Bogolyubovo …

AWARDS

A. G. Kucherena was awarded the Medal of Honour, the Order of Holy Prince Daniel of Moscow of the 3rd Class, Medal for the Services in Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of the Citizens of the 1st Class, and F.N. Plevako Silver Medal for High Professional Achievements. Anatoly Kucherena is an honorary lawyer of Moscow (Honorary Title “Honorary Lawyer of Moscow”).

Igor Oleynik

In 1992, Igor Oleynik graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Law. Igor Oleynik has held a status of an attorney-at-law since 1993. Igor Oleynik has been a lawyer at Kucherena & Partners since the establishment. Up until that time, he was a lawyer at Argument Law Office, a predecessor of the College of Lawyers.

Igor Oleynik has a wide experience in civil-law and criminal cases. Area of expertise: economic and entrepreneurial law.

Svetlana Lipatova

In 1999, Svetlana Lipatova graduated from the Moscow State Law Academy (currently, the Kutafin Moscow State Law University). Svetlana Lipatova has held a status of an attorney-at-law since 2001. Svetlana Lipatova has been a lawyer at Kucherena & Partners since the establishment. Up until that time, she was a lawyer at Argument Law Office, a predecessor of the Bar Association.

Area of expertise: civil-law cases at courts of general jurisdiction and courts of arbitration. Svetlana Lipatova has a wide experience in criminal cases. However, Svetlana believes that her area of expertise is family relationship cases.

Besides, Svetlana Lipatova is engaged in research and tutorage. She is a Candidate of Legal Sciences. In 2007, Svetlana defended a thesis on the topic “Protection of the constitutional human rights to honour and dignity against encroachments on the Internet”. Svetlana Lipatova is a professor at the Department of the Bar and Notariat at the Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

Svetlana Lipatova is an author of a number of legal articles and published papers.

Oksana Osadchay

Oksana Osadchay has two Diplomas: in Law and in Economics. She graduated from the Moscow Academy for the Humanities in 2002 and Lomonosov Moscow State University, School of Economics, in 2006. In 2007, Oksana Osadchay defended a constitutional law thesis on the topic “Specifics of the Constitutional Law Protection of the Human Rights against the Effects of Moral Damage in the Russian Federation”.

Oksana Osadchay has held a status of an attorney-at-law since 2006.

Oksana Osadchay has been a lawyer at Kucherena & Partners since the establishment.

Area of expertise: arbitration and civil-law cases.

Valentina Kvitko

Born in Moscow in 1987. In 2009, Valentina Kvitko graduated from the Moscow State University of International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, School of International Business and Business Administration. In 2011, Valentina Kvitko graduated from the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Alexandra Bogacheva

Graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, School of Law, in 2015. Alexandra defended the thesis on the topic “Innovative Technologies as a Tool of Implementation and Restriction of the Constitutional Rights of the Citizens. Russian and Foreign Experience”. Alexandra Bogacheva has been an associate lawyer at “Kucherena and Partners” since 2016.
